Postdoc and PhD Student Poster Competition for Travel Fellowships

Attention all Tufts postdocs and graduate students! The Postdoctoral Office (PDO) and the Office for the Vice Provost of Research (OVPR) invite you to present a poster of your research for the chance to win a travel fellowship! 

In summary:
  • 1st place winners in each category will receive $1,000
  • 2nd place winners in each category will receive $500
  • 15 minutes to present your poster to competition judges
The deadline to submit an abstract has now passed (Tuesday, March 21st, 2017 by 5pm)

Poster public viewing at 3pm. Winners announced at 3:30pm during a wine and cheese reception.

Want to display your science-inspired artwork? Join us in an art exhibit at LabCentral, biotech incubator space in Kendall Square, as part of the Cambridge Science Festival! Framed art pieces and sculptures only. Opening reception on Friday, April 14th, from 5 PM-7 PM. Pieces will be on exhibit from April 14th-23rd from 8 AM-5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Join us for lunch to learn how to decipher the alphabet soup of federal grants and how to search for and identify both federal and private grants for which you're eligible. Lunch included; workshop includes hands-on use of funding databases, so bringing your laptop is highly recommended.
